2048
2048 is a sliding number puzzle. Every move shifts the whole board, and equal neighboring tiles merge into a larger value.
How to play
Objective: Build the largest tiles and highest board score before the grid fills.
- Swipe or use the arrow keys to move every tile in one direction.
- Merge equal values such as 2 plus 2 or 8 plus 8.
- Maintain open space so future merges remain possible.
How scoring works
The GigaScore maps the accumulated 2048 game score onto the shared GIGABRAIN scale.
GIGABRAIN is an entertainment game and personal arcade benchmark, not an IQ, medical, or diagnostic test.
Tips for a cleaner run
- Keep your largest tile anchored in one corner.
- Build a descending chain of values beside that corner.
- Avoid moves that force the largest tile away unless the board would otherwise lock.
2048 questions
Does the game end when I reach 2048?
No. You can continue merging tiles and push for a higher score while space remains.
Why are random swipes risky?
Every move adds a new tile, so moves that create no useful structure consume limited board space.
