GIGABRAIN FIELD MANUAL

Center Point Test

Center Point scatters marks across the board and asks you to estimate their geometric center. The answer is the balance point of the complete distribution, not simply the center of the screen.

How to play

Objective: Tap as close as possible to the true center of each point cloud.

  1. Scan the full spread of marks, including outliers.
  2. Estimate where the distribution would balance.
  3. Tap that location and review the precision feedback.

How scoring works

Each round rewards spatial precision and deliberate solving. Exact or near-exact estimates carry the run, while random taps sharply reduce the result.

GIGABRAIN is an entertainment game and personal arcade benchmark, not an IQ, medical, or diagnostic test.

Tips for a cleaner run

  • Estimate the horizontal and vertical centers separately, then combine them.
  • Give isolated outliers appropriate weight without following them completely.
  • Use the outermost points to imagine a bounding shape before refining the center.

Center Point Test questions

Is the correct point always near the screen center?

No. It depends entirely on the positions of the displayed marks.

Why can one distant mark move the answer?

Every mark contributes to the geometric average, so a distant point pulls the balance point toward it.
