GIGABRAIN is a browser-based arcade brain benchmark game. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you visit or play the game at gigabraingame.com.

When you use GIGABRAIN, the following types of data may be processed:
Technical site data:
The site is hosted and protected using Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, approximate country or region, timestamps, security events, and similar request data needed to deliver and protect the website.
Analytics data:
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand basic aggregate site usage, such as page views, visits, countries, referrers, browsers, and performance metrics.
Where enabled and subject to applicable consent choices, we also use Google Analytics to measure returning-user retention, active engagement time, acquisition sources, and gameplay events. Gameplay events may include the selected game and mode, whether a run started, completed, or was abandoned, the GigaScore and scoring version, limited result statistics such as accuracy or rounds, and run duration. Google Analytics uses a pseudonymous browser or app-instance identifier to recognize repeat use; GIGABRAIN does not send Google Analytics a name or email address.
Local game data:
GIGABRAIN saves your full scores, progress, settings, and game history locally in your browser using localStorage. This local history is not linked to an account because GIGABRAIN does not currently have accounts or cloud saves. When Google Analytics is enabled, the limited gameplay-event fields described above may also be transmitted for product analytics; the complete local history is not uploaded as a cloud save.

Advertising data:
GIGABRAIN may show advertising to help keep the game free. When advertising is enabled, third-party advertising networks such as Google AdSense and their partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve and measure ads. This is described in more detail in the "Advertising and cookies" section below.
3. What we do not currently do
GIGABRAIN currently does not:
- require an account
- process payments
- sell personal data
- run public leaderboards
- intentionally collect real names, addresses, or payment information
4. LocalStorage and saved scores
Your scores and progress are stored locally in your browser. If you clear your browser data, use a different browser, use a different device, or block localStorage, your saved progress may be lost.
5. Why we process data
We process limited data to:
- operate the website
- protect the site from abuse or attacks
- understand whether the game is being used
- measure retention, game balance, and engagement so we can improve performance and gameplay
- show and measure advertising, where it is enabled
- respond to messages sent to us
6. Third-party services
We use Cloudflare for hosting, security, performance, and aggregate web analytics. Cloudflare may process technical data as part of providing these services. Where enabled, we use Google Analytics for pseudonymous usage and gameplay analytics. If advertising is enabled, we may also use third-party advertising networks such as Google AdSense, as described in the next section.
7. Advertising and cookies
GIGABRAIN may show advertising to help keep the game free. Ads may be provided by third-party advertising networks, such as Google AdSense.
When advertising is enabled, these networks and their partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to show and measure ads. Depending on your settings and region, some ads may be personalized based on your activity on this and other websites, while others may be non-personalized.
Where required by law, we will show a cookie-consent banner so you can accept or reject non-essential cookies, including advertising cookies, before they are set. You can also manage or opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings and through the advertising networks’ own controls.
The site uses Google Consent Mode with its consent message so Google Analytics and advertising tags can adjust their storage and processing behavior to the choices available in your region. You can revisit available choices through the site’s privacy controls where offered, and you can clear site cookies or browser storage to remove locally stored identifiers and preferences.
8. Children
GIGABRAIN is intended as a general entertainment game. It is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you are under the age required by your country to use online services without parental permission, please ask a parent or guardian before using the site.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. Because GIGABRAIN currently does not use accounts, we may not be able to identify individual users from site analytics alone.

10. Analytics retention
We configure Google Analytics user-level and event-level reporting data for a limited retention period and use aggregate reports for longer-term product decisions. Cloudflare and Google may retain technical or service data according to their own documented service practices. Local game history remains on your device until you clear site data.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the game changes. If we add accounts, payments, cloud saves, or other major features, this policy will be updated.
