GIGABRAIN FIELD MANUAL
Stroop Test
The Stroop Test asks you to respond to the ink color while ignoring the color word itself. The word and ink often conflict, so automatic reading becomes the distraction.
How to play
Objective: Identify the displayed ink color quickly and accurately before the run ends.
- Read the available color choices before the first prompt.
- Respond to the ink color, not the written word.
- Keep answering through the timed benchmark.
How scoring works
Each correct response adds to the benchmark result. More correct answers within the fixed time produce a higher GigaScore.
GIGABRAIN is an entertainment game and personal arcade benchmark, not an IQ, medical, or diagnostic test.
Tips for a cleaner run
- Treat the word as a shape and focus on its visible color.
- Use training mode to learn the button positions.
- A steady accurate rhythm is better than recovering from repeated errors.
Stroop Test questions
Why does this feel harder than naming normal colors?
Reading is highly automatic, so a conflicting word competes with the color response you are trying to make.
Does language familiarity matter?
Yes. How automatically you read the displayed words can affect the interference you experience.
